Tumbleroot was established in 2018. With a combined brewery and distillery production space, we make a wide variety of beer, spirits, liqueurs, bitters and canned cocktails. Made from scratch, our products feature organic, garden grown, and wild harvested ingredients. Our beers have won medals at national competitions including the Great American Beer Festival and the National Honey Board Honey Beer Competition. We have won numerous local awards for our products, and in 2020, the readers of Edible Magazine named Tumbleroot the best producer of distilled spirits in New Mexico. Our production space has an intimate tasting room and bottle shop where guests can learn more about us, sample our products, and enjoy draft beer and craft cocktails. We also offer toursevery Wednesday and Thursday.
Our flagship taproom on Agua Fria St, the historic Club Alegria, is a community hub with an expansive courtyard and a large indoor venue with a stage and dance floor. We have a from-scratch bar program and make our own syrups, shrubs, bitters, and cordials for our cocktails and alcohol-free beverages. With indoor and outdoor bars and kitchens, the taproom changes throughout the seasons, but always delivers quality, pub-style food and drink. Check out our current menu. We regularly host djs and live music, from the best local artists to nationally touring musicians.
