It all began with a Cascade Hop plant from the Farmer’s Market. Beer Creek Brewing Company began like many other breweries, in the backyards of the homes of a few good friends. A hop plant in a plastic gallon container grew a few hops one year, and a budding interest in making beer, not just consuming it, blossomed. Curiosity and an equally matched passion for beer propelled these friends, family, and neighbors to encourage each other through exploration and experimentation. The arroyo that benefited from the run-off water during the brewing process was then named “Beer Creek”. What started as a hobby project with scientific fervor, eventually grew into a obsession for locally sourced ingredients. The group of friends grew, as did the backyard homebrew station. In 2015, the friends began a hops farm on a 2-acre lot on a nearby ranch. Brick by brick… Beer Creek was built from the ground up. Board by board, kettle to cooler, oven to table-everything you know about BCBC was hand-designed, built, brewed, and baked by the people you know and see every day in the building. We have taken our backgrounds from a variety of careers, skills, and experiences to create a unique, family-friendly brew pub for everyone to enjoy. Our commitment is to the community. Love and friendship are the driving force behind BCBC. We love beer. We love our families. We love New Mexico. And we love pizza. Our vision was always to enjoy what we did with the time we had. Today, at Beer Creek Brewing Company, we extend our passions to you. Beer Creek Brewing Company uses local and all-natural ingredients wherever possible to give you a high-quality pizza at an affordable price. This commitment to local and all-natural ingredients also extends to the beers we brew. They not only feature New Mexico malted barley, but hops from our own farm down the road, and also several others we love to support. Stay tuned. We always have exciting things in the works!
